About Dr. Brill
Dr. Brill was born in Pikesville, MD and earned his bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. He received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, where he completed the Global Health Scholars Program. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Health System, Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident during his senior year.
Dr. Brill subsequently completed two prestigious fellowships:
- Uveitis & Ocular Immunology — Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School, Boston (where he was honored as Fellow of the Year by Massachusetts Eye and Ear residents)
- Vitreoretinal Surgery (2 years) — Cincinnati Eye Institute, Cincinnati Children's Medical Center & University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
Dr. Brill is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the American Uveitis Society.
